How to Charge Your Crystals (The Pretty, Witchy Way)

How to Charge Your Crystals (The Pretty, Witchy Way)

Let’s talk about charging crystals — not with boring science, but with intention, moonlight, and pure goddess energy.

I used to think I had to wait for a full moon and chant perfectly to charge my stones. Now? I charge them while sipping herbal tea in my robe with mascara from three days ago. It still works — because the magick is you, babe.

So here’s the ritual I do now, the soft-girl spell version:

1. Set the mood
Light a candle (black for protection, pink for love, or whatever feels good). Put on your favorite playlist or silence — this is sacred time.

2. Place your crystals on the Mythona Light Altar
Yes, our signature lamp. Not only is it cute, it emits EMF-safe energy and gentle color modes that align with each stone’s vibration.

  • White for Clear Quartz

  • Pink for Rose Quartz

  • Violet for Amethyst

  • Blue for Lapis
    ... you get it.

3. Speak over them (softly or in your head)
Say what you want them to hold. “You are now charged to help me feel calm during chaos.” “You’re gonna help me sleep and stop texting him back.” That kind of thing.

4. Let them bathe in the glow
15–30 minutes. Then give them a little kiss if you’re extra. I do.

That’s it. No full moon necessary. No complicated rituals (unless you want to be extra — then absolutely go off, priestess).

🌞 No lamp? No problem — use the sun.
If you don’t have the Mythona Light Altar yet (get one though, she’s cute), place your crystals on a windowsill that catches sunlight during the day.
Make sure they aren’t in harsh heat or directly outside — we don’t want your amethyst fading or your vibes getting scorched.

☀️ Let them sit for at least 2 full days — morning to dusk. Crystals need time to soak in the sun’s frequency the way we do after heartbreak.

Bonus: place a small cloth or sacred item under them to make the space feel more intentional. Think of it like tucking your crystals into a pretty little spa bed.

Just remember:

  • Don’t use this method with delicate or light-sensitive stones like Amethyst or Fluorite.

  • You can place a sheer fabric over them if the sun is too intense.

  • Speak your intention before setting them down. The sun listens too. 🌞✨
